ScholarsPath uses a limited set of cookies, strictly necessary for the Service to function: (a) authentication cookies, set by Supabase, which keep you signed in and identify your session securely; (b) preference cookies, which remember your selected language across pages; and (c) payment session cookies, set by PayPal during checkout, which are required to process your payment securely. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels.
3. Why we don't need a cookie consent banner for most cookies
The authentication, preference, and payment cookies described above are considered "strictly necessary" under applicable law (such as the EU ePrivacy Directive), as the Service cannot function without them. Strictly necessary cookies generally do not require prior consent, though we remain transparent about their use here.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Please note that blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from staying logged in, and blocking payment cookies may prevent you from completing a subscription purchase.
5. Third-party cookies
Supabase and PayPal may set their own cookies as part of providing authentication and payment services to us. Their use of cookies is governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies we use change, for example if we introduce new features or service providers. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
